6 weeks (10 November - 19 December) in New Delhi under a flagship program, Connect to India, launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, the Government of India and the University Grants Commission.The selected Canadian students under this program will be given wide ranging exposure to society, economy, polity, art, architecture, science and technology, cinema and theatre, etc. in India. Noted specialists in these fields will deliver lectures and interact with the students. In addition, arrangements will be made for the students to visit important institutions, i.e., parliament, selected ministries, party headquarters, supreme court, an Indian village, some NGO headquarters and the historical monuments.
